In this post I will review the last of the protein cookies in the variety pack that I received from Amazon from Munk Pack. The Double Dark Chocolate Protein Cookie is next up. I reviewed three other protein cookies from Munk Pack, including Oatmeal Raisin Spice, Coconut White Chip Macadamia, and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, which were all very tasty and had a good texture.
The final cookie from Munk Pack has the flavor that I like the most, chocolate. All of these cookies have good nutrition, not exactly clean ingredients, but solid. They are a much better option than a plain sugary cookie, providing a decent amount of protein along with just a bit of fiber. Let’s take a look what’s in the ingredients.
List Of Ingredients
Peanut Butter, Dark Chocolate Chips (Cane Sugar, Chocolate, Cocoa Butter), Cane Sugar, Plant Protein (Brown Rice Protein, Pea Protein), Gluten Free Oat Fiber, Vegetable Glycerin, Dutch Cocoa Powder, Natural Flavors, Gluten Free Oat Fiber, Baking Powder, Sea Salt, Xanthan Gum, Sunflower Lecithin, Cinnamon, Monk Fruit Extract.
Keep in mind that peanut butter is the first ingredient, which is not obvious by just looking at the front of the wrapper. As in all the cookies from Munk Pack, one of the key ingredients is monk fruit extract.

My Honest Review
As I open the wrapper, I get a mild chocolate aroma. The cookie is thick but rather small. It is very fresh and moist as I take the first bite. There are little chocolate chips throughout the cookie, and although it appears dry, it isn’t at all.
The flavor of the cookie is mild, I don’t get that dark chocolate flavor that I was expecting. The consistency and texture is similar to chocolate cake. There is no protein taste to speak of, and the cookie is not gritty or chalky as is the case with many protein bars and cookies.
I really enjoy the flavor, it is very satisfying and filling. I am washing it down with a bottle of water, which I would suggest. A glass of milk would be wonderful with this cookie. There is a slight aftertaste, but not bad.
I would definitely eat this cookie again as a healthy snack to get some protein and extra fiber in my diet. Just keep in mind that the cookie is not for weight loss, as it is relatively high in sugar and carbs, so moderation is important if you look to use the protein cookie as a weight loss tool.
I would absolutely recommend that you give this cookie a try, as it tastes great and is relatively nutritious. All the Munk Pack Protein Cookies are a tasty, satisfying option.
