The next cookie from Lenny & Larry’s that I will taste and review is the Coconut Chocolate Chip Complete Cookie. Coconut and chocolate are two of my favorite flavors to eat together, so I am excited to give this cookie a try.
So far, Lenny & Larry’s products have been very tasty, filling, and satisfying, and I don’t expect this cookie to be much different, but we will see. I have reviewed the Snickerdoodle, CHOC-O-MINT, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, and Double Chocolate Complete Cookies up to this point, and I liked them all.
The list of ingredients of the Coconut Chocolate Chip cookie is very similar to the others that I have tasted, with a few exceptions.
List Of Ingredients
Enriched Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Protein Blend (Vital Wheat Gluten, Pea Protein, Rice Protein), Cane Sugar, Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (Unsweetened chocolate, Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Dextrose, Natural Vanilla), Palm Margarine (Palm Oil, Palm Fractions, Water, Salt, Emulsifiers [Sunflower Lecithin, Distilled Monoglycerides], Natural Flavor, Citric Acid, Mixed Tocopherol [Antioxidants] Vitamin A, Beta-Carotene [Color]), Invert Sugar, Chicory Root Fiber, Vegetable Glycerine, Oligofructose, Desiccated Coconut, Molasses, Coconut Oil, Toasted Coconut (Desiccated Coconut, Sugar, Salt), Sunflower Lecithin, Baking Soda, Natural Flavor, Sea Salt, Cultured Dextrose, Xanthan Gum, Guar Gum.
The only difference in ingredients from the other cookies is basically that this has coconut in it. As per usual with Lenny & Larry’s cookies, you have to double the nutrition listed, because it is for only half the cookie. Keep that in mind.

If you are on a reduced sugar or carbohydrate diet, you may want to reconsider trying this cookie, as it has quite a bit of both. The cookie does have dietary fiber and a decent amount of protein, so that is definitely two positives.
My Honest Review
When I first open the packaging, I smell a mild coconut and chocolate flavor. It isn’t overpowering. The texture of the cookie is soft and moist, with just a bit of a crunch, due to the presence of coconut, which is not visible.
The coconut flavor is mild, but is just perfect when accompanied by the chocolate chips. The cookie is not overly sweet, and there is virtually no protein taste. I would suggest drinking a beverage with the cookie. I like coconut water, so I thought that would pair nicely with this cookie, and it does. But it would taste good with regular water or even milk.
There is a very mild aftertaste to the cookie, but nothing that dissuades me from eating further. The cookie would make a great between meal snack to add some protein and fiber to a diet.
If you workout, it could help build some muscle, but I wouldn’t say it is necessarily meant for this purpose. I look at this cookie as a nutritious alternative to eating regular sugary cookies. Just don’t eat more than one at a time, as the calories and sugar content is rather high.
The flavor is very satisfying and I would suggest this cookie to anyone as a nutritious way to get some extra protein in their diet. Another tasty cookie from Lenny & Larry’s!
